2023-10-13 and the quest is still bugged - unable to finish it.

Mission still bugged; you can't finish the mission after doing everything.

10/out a missão ainda está bugada, esperamos que o bug seja corrigido.
Found NPC at start of mission, but still does not acknowledge mission is done. Still bugged.
It's still buggy, no delivery, NPC is gone!
My quest is also buggy, I cannot validate it, and the quest point does not appear on the game compass, I tried to quit and retry the quest but it still does not validate, even if I go back to the NPC to talk to him again
7th October, quest still bugged/cannot be completed, you complete all the objectives, quest turns green in journal, but no marker on the map. If you go back to the npc, the quest marker on them is still grey
As of 10/7 this quest is still bugged - The NPC Fionn Valora appears to have vanished, and it is impossible to turn in this quest to complete it.

After today's (10/6) patch this is no longer relevant.
Removed the interact timer from the quest “Tracking the Herd” to allow multiple players to complete the objective at the same time. No more standing in line!

At face value it seems like whoever placed the tent has ruined our chances at getting this done - however, this is not the case.
This respawns on a timer. Once it has respawned you stand in the corner and look in the direction of the cauldron, eventually you'll get the "Collect Migration Sample" option. You may need to move your view around a bit. It seems to spawn no sooner than 90 seconds but no later than 120 seconds after being collected.
The Mammoth spawns once it's been collected so even if you miss it being collected the Mammoth is a tell.

It is not bugged just the timer for the quest item is around 90 seconds, ppl are currently forming waiting lines to get it :D
Seems like it's another bugged quest right now, nothing to interact with when you get to the part 'Collect a sample of beast droppings'. There is a mammoth elite that spawns - but seems unrelated?
